Meshborn ("the App") is operated by Strukt+Proto B.V. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. Your email is managed by Amazon Cognito and is used solely for account access and recovery.

Game Data

We store your game state including: faction identity (AI-generated name, chosen color and glyph), owned territory, agent configurations, diplomatic history, progression scores, and subscription status. This data is stored in Amazon DynamoDB.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized gameplay analytics including: session frequency, game actions per session, progression rates, and feature usage. This data helps us balance the game and improve the experience.

Purchase Information

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive subscription status information via RevenueCat but do not store payment details, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your real name (your in-game identity is AI-generated)
We do not collect your location data
We do not collect contacts, photos, or other personal device data
We do not collect user-generated text content (all communication is structured-choice, rendered by AI)
We do not sell your data to third parties

5. AI-Generated Content

Meshborn uses Amazon Bedrock (Nova Lite and Nova Pro models) to generate in-game content including faction names, diplomatic messages, intelligence briefings, world event narrations, and seasonal narrative arcs. Your game state (territory, agents, diplomatic history) is sent to these AI models as context for generating personalized content. No personal identifying information (email, real name) is sent to AI models.

7. Data Retention

Your game data is retained for as long as your account is active. Pulse logs (game event history) are retained for 30 days. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including: encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data storage (AWS encryption at rest), secure authentication (Amazon Cognito with SRP protocol), and access controls (IAM policies).

9. Children's Privacy

Meshborn is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
